Office Assistant – Conservation & Demand Management

(6 Month Contract)

PUC Services Inc. operates multiple utilities within and around the City of Sault Ste. Marie, including the supply and delivery of electricity and drinking water, energy services and the treatment of water and wastewater.

As the Temporary Office Assistant - CDM, your duties will include:

  • Provide office support services to CDM as well as other divisional departments in a confidential and safe manner.
  • Provide tactful and courteous communication with internal and external customers.
  • Process incoming incentive applications, invoices, and payments.
  • Maintain and process regulatory documentation, records and reports.
  • Organize and and maintain electronic files and databases.

Qualifications:

  • At minimum, completion of a two-year college diploma in Office Administration or experience that is equivalent to the educational requirements.
  • Minimum of one year of office experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications and Work Management Systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skill, administrative and analytical skills.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement regarding confidential matters.
  • Strong organizational skills that will result in the timely and accurate completion of assignments.

Excellent communication skills with experience interacting with customers.
